Imphal, December 29 2020: The Governing body and the members of the Sangeet Kala Sangam, Khurai Lamlong Bazar today accorded a warm reception programme to Sh Nabachandra, nominee to the General Council of Sangeet Natak Akademy, New Delhi.

Ningombam Ibohal Singh, advisor to the Chief Minister and Nongthombam Birendra Singh graced the reception programme as presidium members on the dais, said Sangeet Kala Sangam in a press release.

Sh Nabachandra during the programme had acknowledged the role of the institute in preserving and further developing the rich cultural heritage of the State, the release said.

Sh Nabachandra had also called on the Sangeet Kala Sangam and people at large to continue to forge a collective effort to safeguard the culture of the State, it continued.
