Sonu Sood has been making headlines for the right reasons throughout the pandemic. He has been called the 'messiah' of the migrant workers for all the help he did to make them reach home safely amid the coronavirus outbreak across the nation. Not just that, he has been providing aid to all the underprivileged people. Now, Sonu helped a few elderly women by providing them with winter clothes.
One of the tweets addressed to Sonu read as "वाराणसी से लगभग 80 km दूर नक्सल प्रभावित क्षेत्र मिर्जापुर और सोनभद्र के 20 ऐसे गाँव है। जंहा बूढ़ी माताएं हर साल यह उम्मीद से ठंड काट लेती है,कि कोई फ़रिश्ता उनकी मदद के लिए जरूर आयेगा। अब उन बूढ़ी दादी और महिलाओं की आखरी उम्मीद बस अब आप हो। @SonuSood Sir और @NeetiGoel2 Mam... (About 80 km from Varanasi, there are 20 villages in Mirzapur and Sonbhadra which are affected areas. Every year old mothers suffer in cold weather with the hope that an angel will come to help them. Now you are the last hope of those old grandmothers and women.)
To which Sonu replied, अब सभी 20 गाँव में किसी को ठंड नहीं लगेगी। उनकी सर्दी का सामान जल्द आप तक पहुँच जाएगा। (Now in all 20 villages, no one will suffer from cold. Winter clothes will reach you soon.)

Meanwhile, Sonu will soon be releasing his book titled I Am No Messiah and talking about the same, the actor told IANS, "It has turned out to be very special because I never realised that one day, I will do something, on which a book will be written on me, where I can share my experiences, share all the moments where I connected with millions of people across the globe."
Sood added, "Now, putting everything on paper... my mom, who was a professor, always used to tell me to write about my experiences, whenever you feel they are special because they will stay with you forever. With so many things happening, you tend to forget those experiences, but you can always go back to those pages and revisit those times."
