CEPI to invest $5m in Biological E’s project

HYDERABAD: The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), a global partnership launched to develop vaccines, has teamed up with Indian vaccine maker Biological E to help it advance the development of its Covid-19 subunit vaccine candidate.

CEPI has also agreed to an initial contribution of up to $5 million to Hyderabad-based Biological E towards the cost of scaling up the process of vaccine manufacturing.
