Is Vandal the best Valorant gun for 2020? VALORANT, when it was launched, changed the way people looked at gaming and found the colourful tones of the game rather appealing. Thousands of players made the shift from games like CS: GO and Overwatch to the new tactical shooter. The similarities to other first person, tactical shooter games made it easier for players to accept and adapt to the new game and the range of weapons it had to offer.
Riot Games revealed who according to them are the Valorant deadliest weapons in the year and settled the never-ending debate.
We’re wrapping up 2020 with a look back at game stats.
We can finally settle the Phantom vs. Vandal debate! The Vandal beat out Phantom and Spectre as this year’s deadliest weapon.

According to Riot Games, Vandal is the Valorant’s deadliest weapon based on the number of kills since the game and the gun was launched. The Phantom and Spectre were then placed in the second and the third place, respectively. Many players look forward to Vandal’s high damage, eliminating enemies with a precise long-distance headshot.
But Valorant’s Vandal more often than not is tough to master with the recoil difficult to control, many players look towards Phantom when it comes to a gun they could master. The Phantom also has high damage which has made them both an ideal weapon in most conditions.
Both weapons are the first choice of the pros who swap between the weapons based on what map they are playing and what situation they might be in. Players choose either but the number of kills suggest players prefer Vandal.
Riot is always looking to modify the precision and damage of the guns and more changes could be seen in the future. A new list might emerge at the end of 2021, and it will be good to see if there’s a change from VALORANT’s first year.
