RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat calls on Kerala Governor

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 30 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat called on the Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan at the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.

Dr Mohan Bhagavat is in Kerala in connection with various meetings of RSS functionaries in the state. On Tuesday the RSS chief inaugurated a building for 'Kesari,' the mouthpiece of the RSS in the state.

Earlier, Dr Mohan Bhagawat visited Kowdiar Park in the city and garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda. He is scheduled to attend a few meetings of the state RSS leaders at Bharatheeya Vichara Kendra on Thursday.

AP: Crime rate dips by 14 per cent but rape cases up in Vizag

Visakhapatnam, Dec 30(UNI) The Visakhapatnam city witnessed a 14 per cent dip in crime rate this year compared to 2019, as per the latest data released by city police chief Manish Kumar Sinha here on Wednesday.
Amongst cognizable offences, there has been a marked reduction in property offences by 21 percent, white-collar offences by 28 per cent while crime against women fell by 24 per cent and cybercrimes by 4 per cent.
