In the absence of Virat Kohli, Mohammad Shami and even Umesh Yadav getting injured in the middle of the game, India did make a terrific comeback in the Border-Gavaskar Test series after the Adelaide humiliation. India won the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by eight wickets to level the four-Test series 1-1. The third Test, it will take place from January 7, 2021.
As for India, Umesh Yadav is recovering well and the management and medical staff will take a call on his return. About Rohit Sharma's inclusion, he will be a part of the third and fourth Test.
