AR seizes betel nuts

Imphal, December 28 2020: Troops of Assam Rifles seized nearly four tonnes of betel nuts worth Rs 24.78 lakh on December 26 near Yangkhul village in Tengnoupal district.

A total of 50 bags were seized which were handed over to Customs officials for further investigation, said a press release issued bv PRO IGAR (South) .
