Man critical after Monash Freeway drag race rollover
One man suffered life-threatening injuries and another is on the run after reportedly drag racing for six kilometres along the Monash Freeway late on Monday night.
Police say two cars were seen travelling city-bound on the freeway and appeared to be racing; weaving and changing lanes, when the crash occurred at 10.45pm in Mulgrave.

The car lost control before crashing into the Springvale Road overpass and rolling.
The driver was trapped for some time before he was extricated from the vehicle and taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition, a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
His male passenger was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other vehicle, believed to be a white sedan, which was seen speeding alongside the rolled vehicle between Wellington and Springvale roads prior to the crash, did not stop and the driver fled the scene.
Detectives are appealing to the driver to come forward.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives remained at the scene on Tuesday morning. The freeway was cordoned off while evidence was collected.
Inbound lanes on the Monash Freeway remained closed between Springvale Road and Ferntree Gully Road until about 10.30am on Tuesday morning.
