Former Indian Cricket player Wasim Jaffer continued his brilliant Twitter form as he trolled former England Captain over his ‘4-0’ series whitewash prediction for India vs Australia.
India hit back brilliantly in the down under conditions vs Australia in the second Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Men in blue gave a dominant performance as they won by eight wickets at MCG. This victory came after a humiliating loss in the opening test at Adelaide where Virat Kohli led team collapsed to 36 runs in 2nd innings.
As expected, Michael Vaughan faced the wrath of Indian cricket fans as his ‘4-0’ prediction got wrong. He predicted this series outcome after the first test loss of visitors by eight wickets.
Former England skipper tweeted that “India is going to get hammered in the Test Series” and predicted a 4-0 whitewash.
In reply to this Wasim Jaffer replied with a meme which stated “Pichli baar kya bola tha? Whitewash?”

Team India’s Dominance at MCG
Team India has played 14 Test matches so far on the Melbourne ground. In which visitors have managed to win a record 4 matches. One important thing is, the Indian batsmen had scored centuries in all those four Test matches. When India won the first Test at Melbourne in 1977, skipper Sunil Gavaskar played an innings of 118 runs.
Debutants Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj showed character: India skipper Ajinkya Rahane
Team India achieved the target of 70 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. The Australian bowlers gave the Indian team an early shock, with the sending of Mayank Agarwal (5) and Chateshwar Pujara (3) back to the pavilion soon. Rahane scored 27* and Gill scored 35* to give India a victory on the fourth day.
In Australia’s second innings, Indian bowlers showed their class and quality. Mohammad Siraj, on behalf of Team India, sent 3 batsmen to the pavilion. Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Jasprit Bumrah took 2-2 wickets each. Umesh Yadav got 1 wicket.
