Manu Punjabi has revolted against superstar Salman, who also happens to be 'Bigg Boss 14' host, for calling Rahul Vaidya a 'quitter' on the show. Manu posted a video in support of Rahul, stating that the singer was instead bold enough to leave the show and be with his parents or girlfriend.
"Rahul Vaidya chahe girlfriend ki wajah se, chahe woh apni mother ki wajah se gaya, kisi bhi reason se woh gaya, woh mahaan hai, uske andar yeh quality hai ki woh itne bade manch ko chhod kar apne dil ki awaaz sun ke wahaan se jaata hai. (Whether Rahul left because of his girlfriend, mother or any other reason, he is great. He has a quality in him, for listening to his heart and leaving such a huge platform)," Manu was heard saying in the video.
Punjabi, who was also part of 'Bigg Boss 14' for a brief period, captioned his post, "#Rahulvaidya (BHAGODA) Nahi Hai.. @rahulvaidyarkv ne esa bhi kya galat kiya bhai samaz nhi aaya. Family ya Girlfriend ke Liye Show Quit karne ki himmat Chahiye Usne Dikhai."
"Or Uske Bad Usko Show Ki Or Show Ko Uski Jarurat Thi Isliye Aaya (Rahul Vaidya is not a quitter. I don’t understand what he did that was so wrong. It takes courage to leave the show for a girlfriend or family, which he showed. He came back because he needed the show and the show needed him)," he wrote.
Like Rahul, Manu also chose to walk out of the 'Bigg Boss 14' house after an incident. While Rahul had walked out stating he felt 'homesick', Punjabi quit owing to health reasons. He is expected to make a re-entry in the house after complete recovery.
For the uninformed, Salman Khan has constantly dissed Rahul Vaidya since the thought of his re-entry in the house. He called the singer a 'deserter' and did not stop calling him the same despite Rahul's request. At the moment, the matter between them is resolved as Salman has stopped calling out Rahul during 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episodes.
