Sikkim records 46 new Corona positive cases

Gangtok, Dec 28 (UNI) Sikkim recorded 46 new Corona positive cases, taking the tally of active cases to 547, said an official.
"Out of the 5845 cases registered so far, 5079 have been discharged on recovery," said Sonam Bhutia, member of state Information, Education and Communication panel.
No latest death so the total death figure so far remains 125.

Passenger from Kolkata reaches Andaman without RT-PCR negative test report; Sent back from Airport

Port Blair, Dec 27 (UNI) A passenger from Kolkata reached Veer Savarkar International Airport Sunday morning in Air India flight, without a negative RT-PCR test report, following which he was sent back to Kolkata and was not allowed to enter Andaman, following precaution being taken by the Andaman and Nicobar Administration from the new variant of COVID-19 virus.
