Seniors welcome junior budding technocrats at United College of Engineering and Research

PRAYAGRAJ: United College of Engineering and Research (UCER), Prayagaraj celebrated the fresher’s function “ALOHOMORA 2K20” for welcoming new batch of BTech students at their campus, on Saturday.


The function commenced by garlanding idol of goddess Saraswati and traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp jointly by principal UCER, Prof H P Shukla, principal UIM Prof KK Malviya principal UIT Prof Sanjay Srivastava and principal UCEM Prof KS Dubey and others.

The welcome address was given by Prof Shukla, wherein he said that the aim of the fresher’s function is interaction between juniors and seniors and filling up the gap between them. The freshers should try to receive and inculcate habits which are virtuous and should follow the vibrant tradition of the institute. They should also keep the sweet memories of their interaction with them and move ahead in their lives.


Seniors welcomed the newcomers in a friendly atmosphere and encouraged their creative impulses to boost their confidence. Packed with several fun filled moments cultural activities, the juniors were given a warm welcome on the campus.

The titles Mr Fresher was conferred to Mohmad Samir (CE) and that of Ms Fresher was given to Srishti Kesarwani (EC). Performer of the day title was won by Ajit Yadav (EE branch).
