UltraTech Cement considers to raise Rs1,000cr through NCDs; stock trades higher

The cement company considers issuance of 10,000 NCDs of Rs10 lakh each on private placement basis on or after December 30, 2020.

UltraTech Cement Limited is considering a proposal to raise funds by issuance of 10,000 rated, listed, non-convertible, redeemable, unsecured NCDs of Rs10 lakh each aggregating to Rs1,000cr, on private placement basis, including the terms and conditions of the issue, on or after December 30, 2020.

The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on May 20, 2020 had approved to raise funds, by way of issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs); foreign currency loan or rupee term loan, or in any other manner, in one or more tranches.

At around 9.37 am, UltraTech Cement Ltd was trading at Rs5,075 per piece up by Rs33.2 or 0.66% on the BSE.
