ATEREC condoles Sapam Momon

Imphal, December 27 2020: Artiste Training cum Educational Research Centre (ATEREC) today condoled the sudden demise of Sapam Momon, president of ATEREC on the morning of December 25.A two minute silence was observed at a condolence meeting held yesterday at the office of Ipak Films, Hodam Leirak and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace, said a statement issued by ATEREC.

Sobita Mongjam, vice-president of ATEREC said Sapam Momon was a personality who took a major role in reviving ATEREC.

Moirangthem Lalit, social activist said at the meet that Sapam Momon was born on February 22, 1946 at Lourembam Leikai and was the general secretary of Janata Party on which ticket he was elected as Councillor and Chairman of the then Imphal Municipal Council, added the statement.

ATEREC condoled the sudden demise of Sapam Momon and shared the grief of the bereaved family, added the statement.
