Redemption Church in downtown Beaumont held a candlelight service to celebrate Christmas Eve and the birth of the Christ child. The service included signing hymns and Christmas carols to start and end the service, with Pastor Byron Ellis reading from the Christmas story and preaching a message about "God With Us" with the birth of Christ. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Fredrick Carnell Harden, age 50 from Beaumont after a shooting that occurred Christmas morning. Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
