CHANDIGARH: Deaths continue to be a cause of worry for the health authorities of
Haryana as the state on Sunday reported a low count of 362 new Covid-19 cases with worrisome figure of 9 deaths from across the state. Meanwhile,
Faridabad too breached the 400 mark.
According to information, 13 out of 22 districts have reported less than 15 new cases. While
Gurgruam’s maximum cases count of the day too has come down further. As many as 620 recoveries have further pushed the doubling rate to 86 days in the state.
Now the state has total 26,09,07 cases, 2,874 deaths and 25,37,65 recoveries. Recovery rate in the the state has gone upto 97.26%. While despite 29,778 tests during the day, the postivity rate has further come down to 5.88% against the death rate of 1.10%.
Two deaths each have been reported from Hisar and Yamuanangar districts. While one death each has been reported from Faridabad,
Ambala,
Kurukshetra, Jhajjar and Charkhi Dadri districts respectively.
Gurugram though reported highest figue of the districts but recorded its another low of 71 cases where the overall tally has gone to 56473 cases, 342 deaths and 1059 active cases. Gurugram is followed by 48 cases of Faridabad where the overall tally has gone to45328 cases, 400 deaths and 549 active cases.
36 new cases each have come from Ambala and Panchkula districts followed by 22 in Kurukshetra , 21 in Karnal, 19 in Yamunanngar and 16 each in Panipat and Sonipat districts.
Barring Rohtak and Jind which have reported the 12 new cases each, rest 11 districts have reported 10 and less than 10 cases.
Besides 10 cases of Hisar rest districts where less than 10 cases were recorded include Rewari, Sirsa, Mahendergarh, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Palwal, Fatehabad, Kaithal, Nuh and Charkhi Dadri districts.
