Two days after being admitted to hospital due to fluctuating blood pressure and exhaustion, actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth on Sunday got discharged from Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad.
The 70-year-old actor's blood pressure has been stabilised, and he is known to be feeling much better.
"In view of his improved medical condition, Rajinikanth is being discharged from the hospital today. His blood pressure has been stabilized and he is feeling much better," a statement from Apollo Hospitals read.
He is in the Telangana capital since December 13 to shoot for Tamil film, Annaatthe, a Sun Pictures production
The actor isolated himself after four of the crew members tested COVID-19 positive days ago.
The superstar, however, tested negative.
The actor is set to launch his own political party next month ahead of the 2021 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
