HP reports 158 fresh cases of COVID-19, 6 deaths

Shimla, Dec 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh on Sunday registered 158 new COVID-19 cases along with 6 more deaths across the state..
Nodal officer and Secretary Health Mr Amitav Awasthi said that of the 158 people who tested positive for COVID on Sunday, 30 were reported in Mandi, 25 in Solan, 18 in Kangra, 17 in Shimla, 16 in Chamba, 15 in Una, 11 in Hamipur, 10 in in Kullu, 8 in Bilaspur, 6 in Sirmaur and 2 Kinnaur.
The COVID death toll has now risen to 907 with the 6 more deaths recorded on Sunday. With Shimla registering 2 deaths and Kangra, Una , Bilaspur and Sirmaur 1 death each.
A break up of the death toll across the state now stands at 250 in Shimla, 181 in Kangra, 115 in Mandi, 82 in Kullu, 69 in Solan, 45 Hamirpur, 48 Chamba, 36 in Una, 24 in Bilaspur, 30 in Sirmaur, 16 Kinnaur and 12 in Lahaul Spiti.
Total number of cases have now increased to 54,438, which include 3,834 active cases and 49,650 recoveries and 35 have moved shifted out of the state.
