Patna, Dec 26 (UNI) Amid political heat generated over six MLAs joining BJP in Arunachal Pradesh, national executive and national council meeting of JD(U) would be held on Sunday.
State spokesman of JD(U) Rajeev Ranjan Prasad told mediapersons here that national executive and national council meeting of the party would be held here at state headquarters of the party. In first half, national executive meeting would be held while in second half, national council meeting would be held, he added.
Mr Prasad said that a meeting of senior leaders would be held this evening to finalise the agenda of national executive and national council meeting to be held tomorrow. Issues like exploring possibilites of the party to contest Assembly elections to be held in other states including West Bengal , next year would come up for discussion in the meeting, he added.
