Devout Hindus throng temples on auspicious Vaikunta Ekadasi

Hyderabad, Dec 25 (UNI) A large number of people thronged temples, mostly dedicated to Lord Vishnu in Telangana, and offered special prayers on the occasion of the auspicious Vaikuntha Ekadashi on Friday.
Devout Hindus observed fast and were immersed in reading holy books to mark the day.
Informatively, Vaikuntha, according Hindu mythology, is the abode of Lord Vishnu.
