National handloom Expo concluded

Imphal, December 24 2020: The national handloom expo 2019-20 which was organised in connection with Christmas festival was concluded today at the urban Haat Nilakhuthi Imphal east .

The handloom expo was organised by the Manipur Apex Handloom weavers and Handicraft Artisan CS Ltd(AWAS) under the sponsorship of the office of the Development commissioner for Handloom Ministry of Textiles Government of India.

Mutuwa Bahadur spoke on the need of maintaining documentation of Manipur handloom and design records.

S Bhubol board of director of AWAS highlighted the importance of organising handloom exhibition.
