Is Left right?

New Delhi, Dec 25 (UNI) The ideology of Leftists, who ruled for long in parts of country-specially Bengal, Kerala-is facing "queries" in respect of it's "application in contradiction" in these two poll-bound states.
The Left Front and Congress, who, according to some political observers, have almost "collapsed" in the Trinamool Congress ruled state and are "aiding" BJP, on Thursday made an alliance to fight the 'crucial' Bengal polls while being rivals in Kerala.
"Even as there are precedents of 'state-wise' politics based on local issues, going to polls in almost same time by two parties in two states having opposite stance needs some broader clarification," some political pandits felt here on Friday.

Iterating "nothing wrong in love and war," and 'equating' politics with war, a senior CPI(M) leader, on condition of anonymity, said, "At times strategies are against generalisation which do not satisfy all. This is applicable in the case of Left taking opposite side in Bengal and Kerala with regard to Congress."
The Congress and Leftists had fought the 2016 Bengal polls jointly and won 76 seats.
However, the communists brass came out of the pact later.
Bengal and Kerala are among the five states going to Assembly elections next year during April-May.
Assam, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will also go to polls during the same period.
