Two property offenders arrested in Hyderabad

The police recovered Rs. 34,500 in cash and two mobile phones from them

Hyderabad: Two thieves including a YouTube channel reporter who allegedly used to steal money from shops when the owners went to attend prayers were arrested by the Commissioner’s Task Force (south) team on Friday. The police recovered Rs. 34,500 in cash and two mobile phones from them.

Mohd Akram (22) of Vattepally and Hassan Hamza (30) were involved in five cases of theft registered in Asifnagar, Tappachabutra, Charminar, Balapur and Zaheerabad Town police stations, the police said.

“Both the offenders identified the shops where the owners went for prayers after leaving the establishment open and committed theft of cash and other articles,” said S Raghavendra, inspector Task Force (south) team.

Both of them were handed over to the Langer Houz police station for further action.
