2 liquor smugglers held

The police have arrested two persons and charged them under sections 61/1/14 Excise Act. One Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Dhai Marla Colony, was intercepted at T-point and 12 bottles of First Choice whisky - packed in a plastic bag, were seized from his possession.

In another raid conducted at a house in Jaswant Nagar, the police nabbed one Vishnu Kumar, a resident of Jaswant Nagar while selling liquor from his house. As many as 10 bottles of country liquor were recovered from the accused.
