BJP releases list of Zila parishad candidates from Hamirpur district

Hamirpur (HP), Dec 25 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday released the list of fourteen more candidates for the Hamirpur Zila parishad seats.
The list was released by the party district chief, Baldev Sharma during a press conference that was also attended by senior BJP leaders of the district.
The party had already released the list of four candidates from Badsar area last week.
There are eighteen Zila parishad wards in the district.
The names that were cleared today were: Ranjit Singh( Bagehra ward), Poona Dogra( Karot ward), Babli Devi( Daroghan patti kot ward), Madan Lal( Dhalot ward), Mohinder Kumar( Jangelropa ward), Abhayveer Singh Lovely( Dheerar ward), Deepa Sharma( Jahoo ward), Raman Verma( Kharwar ward), Manu Walia( Bhoranj ward), Bihari Lal Sharma( Larha ward), Balbir Chaudhry( Malag ward), Indu wala( Bela ward) and Surinder Babli( Nauhngi ward).
Sharma said that the list was final and those trying to contest as independents would face the ire of the party as the BJP was a party of disciplined soldiers.
The election to the Zila parishad would be held in three phases in January 2021.
