Madurai Kamaraj University mourns death of Tamil writer Tho Paramasivan

MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) Vice Chancellor Dr M Krishnan on Friday condoled the death of Tamil writer Tho Paramasivan.
“The death of anthropologist, writer and professor Tho Paramasivan is a huge loss for Tamil Nadu. He is among the greatest thinkers belonging to Madurai Kamaraj University. The university is honoured that one of his best works was his PhD thesis, ‘Alagar Kovil’, which was published as a book. His death is a great loss in Tamil education and literary circles,” said Dr Krishnan.
The VC also offered his deepest condolences to Tho Paramasivan’s family.
The eminent Tamil writer passed away at 69 in Tirunelveli on Thursday.
