Kanye West Drops Another Surprise Sunday Service Album on Christmas Day

Kanye West just surprised his fans with the release of new music on Christmas Day.

The 43-year-old rapper dropped the five-song Emmanuel EP, a collaboration with the Sunday Service Choir. The EP is said to be “inspired by ancient and Latin music.”

The project is a follow up to last year’s surprise album Jesus Is Born, which was also released on Christmas day last year, which went to number one on the gospel charts.

Emmanuel means “God is with us” and the composition is a “celebration of the miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ.” Kanye produced and composed the 12-minute EP.
