MP CM’s condolences

Bhopal, Dec 23 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed grief on Wednesday over the demise of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s erstwhile legislator Kalyan Singh Thakur who represented Vidisha.
“He was always dedicated to the welfare of the indigent and other weaker social segments – a rare leader indeed who will always remain alive in our memories! The state has lost a true public servant. I pray for peace to the departed soul. Mr Thakur was akin to a family member therefore his passing away constitutes a personal loss,” the senior politician conveyed via social media.

Bhopal, Dec 23 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tributes on Wednesday to former premier Chaudhari Charan Singh on his birth anniversary, which is observed as Kisan Diwas.
“He was a true messiah for our cultivator brethren and struggled ceaselessly for safeguarding the interests of the impoverished plus labourers. His books such as ‘Abolition of Zamindari’ and ‘India’s Poverty and its Solution’ will prove trailblazer works for future generations. Mr Singh shall be ever remembered for unprecedented accomplishments including establishment of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development,” Mr Chouhan conveyed via social media.

MP capital to have image of Bharat Ratna Atal

Bhopal, Dec 23 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh capital will in the immediate future have a statue of erstwhile premier, statesman par excellence and renowned poet Atal Bihari Vajpayee – who was nothing short of an iconic Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart known for his ‘cultural moderation, liberalism and political acumen’.
It was officially learnt that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday inspected the proposed site in the vicinity of Shaurya Smarak.

Cabinet Haryana approval for enhancement of state govt Block Guarantee Limit
