Globe, Aboitiz to provide community broadband services in Davao and Cebu

Philippines operator Globe Telecom has teamed up with Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC), the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, to make community broadband access available in select barangays in Davao and Cebu, through Globe's KonekTayo WiFi service. KonekTayo WiFi is a community WiFi service designed to provide households with internet connections. With KonekTayo WiFi, customers need to connect to a KonekTayo WiFi hotspot, take up a promotion and browse the internet.
