Four hardcore criminals arrested in Mahgama of Godda

Godda, Dec 24 (UNI) Police have arrested four hardcore criminals from Raviyadih under Mahgama Police Station area of this district.
Briefing the press on Thursday Mahgama SDPO KK Singh said that a tip-off had been received regarding the movement of some criminals in a car who were planning to execute a crime in Mahgama.
Based on the information a vehicle checking drive was launched on Lalmatia-Mohanpur road he said, adding that a car was signalled to stop. The SDPO said that five men jumped from the car and started to flee but they were chased by the policemen and four of them were caught while one managed to flee.
He said that the arrested have been identified as Dikshit Mishra alias Diku Mishra, Mafijuddin Ansari, Anup Kumar Jha and Md Munna Sahin. All of them hail from different police stations of this district.
The SDPO said that from the arrested a desu katta, 2 live cartridges, a litre of liquid mixture containing gun powder and potassium chlorate have been recovered. He said that a total of 15 cases are registered against Dikshit Mishra in Mahgama and Lalmatia Police Stations.
