Greater Noida: Sharda Hospital to have 10 vaccination booths

Sharda Hospital
GREATER NOIDA: Sharda Hospital will have at least 10 vaccination booths on its campus and the facility, which has over 2,400 healthcare workers, would act as one of the major centres for vaccination in the region. The hospital is also expected to vaccinate over 700 health workers from neighbouring institutes like ITS Dental College.
Since 100 health workers are to be vaccinated in each booth, the hospital is preparing to space those out and use the university and medical college area as well. While it has kept the emergency medicine staff on alert, nearly 100 people will be deployed to facilitate the vaccination process.
Yatharth’s non-Covid hospitals at Omega 1, Greater Noida, and Sector 110, Noida, have also been asked to start preparing for the process. “We can vaccinate up to 5,000 people and we will make arrangements as per the directives of the health department,” said Dr Sunil Kumar, the medical superintendent, Yatharth hospital.
