A crazy video of an autorickshaw ramming into a two-wheeler on a busy road in Mumbai's suburban Govandi area has gone viral on social media.

The viral video shows the two-wheeler rider engaged in an argument with the autorickshaw driver moments before the latter rammed his vehicle into the bike. After being hit by the autorickshaw, the bike rider fell on the middle of the busy road.

Police said the autorickshaw driver, identified as Salman Sayyed, was arrested on Thursday under attempt to murder charge for ramming his vehicle into the bike.

The Deonar police nabbed 34-year-old Salman Sayyed, a resident of Rafik Nagar, for hitting the two-wheeler belonging to Kishor Kardak following a heated argument last week, an official said.

While the complainant fell off this bike, he did not sustain any major injury, the official said.

Taking the cognisance of the incident, the police traced the auto with its number and apprehended the accused, he said.

The accused has been arrested under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 279 (rash and negligence driving) of the IPC, he added.
