Veterinary Department felicitates O Lukhoi

Imphal, December 23 2020: Minister of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and Tourism, Oinam Lukhoi Singh was felicitated today by the Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry at the Veterinary Directorate Complex, Sanjenthong.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, O Lukhoi said that the services rendered by the officials of the Department is commendable as apart from discharging their duties, also play a significant roles in treating the animals/livestock and in providing technical support for the maintenance and improvement of livestock in the State.

The service of doctors working in the Veterinary &Animal Husbandry Department is laudable as they treat the speechless who cannot express their pain in words, he asserted.

The Minister also sought cooperation from all the employees of the Veterinary Department to extend maximum support, suggestions and constructive ideas to execute the work of the Department in the best interest of the people of Manipur.

He also appealed to the officials of the department to come forward with feedbacks and suggestions to improve in required areas.

During the visit at the Directorate office, O Lukhoi also inspected and checked the ground condition of the various infrastructure namely Veterinary Hospital, Lab room and office building.

Director of Veterinary Department, Dr H Chaoba Singh, along with other officials of the Department also attended today's function.
