Security reviewed ahead of Amit Shah's visit to Guwahati

Guwahati, Dec 24 (UNI) In view of the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Guwahati on December 26, Assam chief secretary and director general of police reviewed the security arrangements.

As desired by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah and DGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta visited Kumar Bhaskar Barman Kshetra at Amingaon, where Shah will address a public rally, and took stock of the preparations.

They also went to the Inspection Bungalow where the Union Minister will be staying overnight.

Senior State Government and Police officials were present during their

review, an official statement said here.
