Keiichiro Toyama, well known as the creator of Silent Hill as well as Gravity Rush, has revealed that he is working on a horror game with his new studio. The currently-untitled game is set for a 2023 release, and according to Toyama, will appeal to fans of his older games.
The studio, dubbed Bokeh Game Studio, was founded earlier this year. Toyama spoke to IGN Japan, talking about the upcoming action-adventure game with strong ties to Silent Hill's horror trappings.
“If anything, this will be more of a horror-oriented game," Toyama told IGN Japan when asked whether the new game will be horror or more anime-styled and action-oriented. "But we will focus on making this a broader entertainment experience, rather than a hardcore horror game."
