Tragic! Malayalam film director Naranipuzha Shanavas passes away at 40 after a massive heart attack on his film set

Popular Malayalam film director Naranipuzha Shanavas, who was 40 years of age, has passed away after he suffered a heart attack on the sets of the film 'Gandhirajan'. The director was immediately rushed to the hospital and put on a ventilator after a cardiogenic shock but despite the doctors and medical team's efforts, he breathed his last within few hours of getting hospitalised, and doctors declared him brain dead. The tragic news took the whole Malayalam film industry into deep grief and mourns the death of the talented director. Taking to his Instagram account, actor and producer Vijay Babu, who earlier slammed reports about the director's death and request not to spread rumours about the same, informed everyone about Naranipuzha's tragic and untimely demise. The actor expressed his sadness and love for the director as he writes, 'We tried our best for you, Shaanu...love you lots' Actress Aditi Rao Hydari, also took to her Instagram handle to mourn the death of a filmmaker by sharing a series of pictures with him and described the director as a 'kind and sensitive' man as she pays condolences to the family. Naranipuzha Shanavas made his directorial debut in the year 2015 with the critically acclaimed film 'Karie' and grabbed all the attention with his hard-hitting style of filmmaking.
