Panchkula, December 23
Haryana Congress Committee chief Kumari Selja today called upon the Panchkula residents to teach the BJP a lesson for its anti-people and anti-farmer policies by defeating its candidates in the MC poll.
She was addressing a public rally in support of Congress mayoral candidate Upinder Ahluwalia at Ramgarh.
“It was the BJP’s own anti-people policies that are now paying back to it. The government is not listening to those whom it claimed to be working for after coming to power,” she said. The farmers’ agitation is an eye-opener for the nation and the BJP daily-dallying approach to solve the agitation reflects its agenda to sell the country in the hands of a few select people, she added. — TNS
