Andy Cohen Shares Adorable Photo of John Mayer Performing for His Son

Andy Cohen‘s son just got the performance of a lifetime!

Andy posted a photo of John Mayer playing guitar for his 22-month-old son Benjamin on Tuesday (December 22).

John and Andy are known for their close friendship, which began after they bonded over a mutual love of the Grateful Dead. He mentioned the famous jam band in his caption, “Twinkle Twinkle > Bertha,” referring to their 1971 single.

In 2015, the pair took a road trip to see them perform. “John Mayer and I have what some would consider an unlikely friendship,” Andy wrote in an article about the trip for Entertainment Weekly. “He’s one of our greatest living guitarists, and I’m regarded as the dude that stirs the s—t on late-night TV. We do have one thing that bonds us: our love of the Grateful Dead. So when the band did five shows this summer—their last ever—we used their Santa Clara, Calif., gigs as an excuse to take a road trip and bro it up.”
