Samsung is now deleting ads that made fun of Apple for not providing free charger
Soon after Apple announced the new iPhone 12 series and said that the company will not be providing a charging adapter and earphones for free inside the box, arch-rival Samsung released ads on Facebook to mock Apple. Samsung made a Facebook post with an image of a Galaxy charger and a simple message, “included with your Galaxy”.

The post reads, “Your #Galaxy does give you what you are looking for. From the most basic as a charger, to the best camera, battery, performance, memory and even 120Hz screen on a smartphone.” The ads were released in October and now Samsung is deleting them.

This is not the first time that Samsung is deleting ads after mocking Apple. It did a similar thing when the iPhone X was launched without a headphone jack and later it had to take it down the ads when it launched the Galaxy Note 10.

As for now, the reason why Samsung is taking down its “Galaxy Charger” ad is simple, the company is planning to follow Apple and not provide chargers for free inside the box of future Samsung phones.

It could be quite possible that Samsung may not offer a charging brick with its upcoming Galaxy S21 flagship. According to a report by Sammobile, the South Korean tech giant is said to offer a 25W fast charging adapter with the flagship smartphone but only in certain regions that are not yet known at the moment. Alternatively, the company is also planning to offer a new 30W fast charger that it will sell separately. The regions in which it will sell this charger are also not yet known.
