Rebel Congress leaders, also known as G-23, have opposed Rahul Gandhi’s representation as the Opposition’s face in the ongoing protest against Centre’s three contentious farm laws. The Congress party has collected nearly two crore signatures from farmers across the country as an appeal to scrap the three laws and a delegation of Congress leaders led by Rahul Gandhi will submit the same to the President on December 24. “Around two crore signatures from across India, urging the withdrawal of the three farm laws have been collected. It will be submitted to the President by a delegation of Congress leaders led by Rahul Gandhi on December 24,” Congress leader KC Venugopal said.
