Madhur Bhandarkar announces new film ‘India Lockdown’ based on true events
MUMBAI: One of the ace filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar who has made his strong mark in Bollywood with his realistic movies, the filmmaker is known for his superb direction and storytelling based on real lives, how we can forget Fashion, Page3, Chandni Bar, Jail and few more.
And now the director has announced his next film ‘India Lockdown’ which is inspired by true events from the Covid-induced lockdown in the country.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the update on social media about Bhandarkar’s new directorial venture.

The film critic also shared that the film will be produced by PJ Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainment. The casting for the movie is underway and it is scheduled to go on the floors in January 2021.
No doubt that the filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar impresses the fans with his unique style of filmmaking giving it a realistic touch and we look forward to see how the director will showcase the Lockdown period India faced due to the Novel coronavirus outbreak.
