Imphal, December 22 2020: Chief Ju-dicial Magistrate Imphal West today remanded three accused vehicle lifters to judi¬cial custody till January 5 next year.

The three accused per¬sons identified as Kshetrimayum Victor alias Boi (46) of Singjamei Chingamakha Kshetri Leikai, Roshan Yumnam (50) of Singjamei Yumnam Leikai Lairembi Maning (at present staying at Mahabali Kabui Khul) and Mangpu Misao (59) of Haokip Veng were produced before the Court of the CJM after completion of police custody remand in connection with the case.

They were arrested on charge of stealing vehicles from Paona Keithel.

Thangal Keithel, Checkon and Khurai.

Police had recovered at least seven stolen Eeco Vans.

They started stealing vehicles from December 2019 onwards and they have so far stolen more than 10 Eeco Vans, said police before the CJM today.
