Panasonic launches Lumix G100 mirrorless camera at Rs 58,990 onwards
Expanding its product portfolio in India, electronic brand Panasonic has launched a new mirrorless camera. Called the Panasonic LUMIX G100, the camera is specially designed for vloggers and is said to be capable of recording videos at complex angles. The camera is the latest addition to the flagship LUMIX G series and comes with a price tag of Rs 58,990 without grip. The price of the camera goes up to Rs 67,990 with the grip.


It is available on the e-commerce site Amazon. The newly launched camera is equipped with the LUMIX G VARIO 12-32mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S.(H-FS12032) lens. It comes integrated with OZO Audio by Nokia and is said to offer high-quality spatial audio recording. It is equipped with three microphones and is claimed to record realistic sound and interviews with clear speech.


Panasonic LUMIX G100 packs a 20.3MP MOS Sensor without Low Pass Filter and has a maximum ISO sensitivity of 25600 high. It is enabled with the LUMIX Sync app and features an option to instantly upload and share pictures on social media via a smartphone or tablet. Panasonic’s LUMIX Sync app is available for iOS and Android running devices.


For image stabilization, the camera offers 5-Axis Hybrid image stabilizer. “Users can apply the LUT (Look Up Table) of their choice on the recorded V-Log footage via a PC to create a differentiated video with subtle colors and moods,” says the company. The LUMIX G100 comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz (IEEE802.11b/g/n) for wireless.


The new mirrorless camera weighs 412 grams. It comes with a tripod grip DMW-SHGR. The camera’s battery can be recharged either via AC or USB cable.
