CSIR CFTRI to organise training on food processing

Imphal, December 22 2020: CSIR Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR CFTRI), Mysuru announced today that a 5 day skill development training programme in food processing will be organised by the institute in Imphal from January 4 to January 8, 2021 .

The training programme 'Value additions to fruits, vegetables and spices' is sponsored by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and the intake capacity of the training programme is 32, said a statement issued by CSIR CFTRI.

The statement added that the training will be conducted by a team of scientists from Mysuru and course completion certificate will be given to the trainees after completion of the training programme.

It further said that participants can register for the training programme by sending their bio-data to iboyaima@cftri.res.in or ngibo@yahoo.com or whatsapp at 984570401 .

The registration fee for the training programme is free and refreshment including lunch will be provided to the trainees and special accommodation for trainees from far flung places will also be made, added the statement.
