Rakul Preet Singh quarantines herself as she tests positive for COVID-19

Popular actress Rakul Preet Singh, who recently began shooting for her upcoming project 'Mayday' alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn, has tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared the news with her fans and also gave an update on health. Rakul's post read as, 'I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon,' Rakul Preet Singh wrote in her statement. She requested all the people who have come in contact with her in the last few days, to get themselves tested and added, 'Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and please stay safe'. Last month Rakul was on a family vacation to Maldives, and pictures and videos of the same left the internet swooning over her memerising beauty. Apart from 'Mayday', Rakul will also be seen in an untitled love story , which also stars Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari. Rakul who made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with 'Yaariyan', also starred in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films.
