Manipur schools to remain closed till March 31

The Manipur Government has ordered closure of all schools in the State till March 31 as a precautionary step against the possible spread of coronavirus that has been raging across the world.

In order to ensure reduction of mass gathering and avoid the spread of COVID-19, the Governor of Manipur has ordered that all government, government-aided and private schools located in the State would remain closed with immediate effect till March 31, 2020 in public interest, said Commissioner (Education-Schools) T Ranjit Singh in a release issued today.
