A Malaysian couple made headlines due to their bold step to host thousands of guests in their wedding amidst the pandemic. However, the glam twist is that they adhered to all the Covid-19 protocols. The "drive- through" wedding was attended by over 10,000 guests in Putrajaya, which is located at south of capital city Kuala Lampur.

In an interesting turn of events, a couple held a "drive-through" event to adhere to Covid norms.

According to the BBC, Tengku Muhammed Hafiz, who is son of an influential politician got married to Oceane Alagia in a drive-through wedding celebration on Sunday morning. The couple sat outside the government building and the guests waved at them while driving. All the wedding guests were instructed to keep their windows rolled up in view of the Covid-19 norms.

After the grand wedding celebration, groom's father Tengku Adnan, who is also a former cabinet minister thanked all attendees for sharing the happy moments together. In a Facebook post, he said, "Me and my family are very honoured. Thank you all for understanding and adhering to all procedures made by drive-through attendance without getting out of the car."

The guests also enjoyed the authentic Malaysian wedding food which was pre-packed and given through the car window while the guests drove on.
