Mumbai: The Nationalist Congress president Sharad Pawar would either be travelling to Bengal to express solidarity with chief minister Mamata Bannerjee or participate in a united Opposition meeting in Delhi against the BJP.
NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik on Monday said that the BJP government in the Centre was ‘trying to destabilise the Trinamool government’. “The Centre has been misusing its powers and trying to encroach the state government’s domain in order to win political capital in West Bengal. The chief minister, Mamata Bannerjee, has spoken with Sharad Pawar. He would either have a meeting with other (opposition) leaders in Delhi or travel to West Bengal,”said Malik.
