PVR Share Price Down by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.2%

PVR share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,322.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 17,566 (down 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are PVR (down 5.2%) and V-MART RETAIL (down 5.4%).

GSK CONSUMER (up 5.1%) and LAKSHMI VILAS BANK (up 4.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, PVR has moved down from Rs 1,789 to Rs 1,322, registering a loss of Rs 467 (down 26.1%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,603 to 17,566, registering a gain of 1,963 points (up 12.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 649.0%), LAURUS LABS (up 367.8%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 244.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 45,938 (up 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,447 (down 0.3%). GAIL (up 1.2%) and TCS (up 0.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,352 to 45,938, registering a gain of 4,586 points (up 10.28%).

PVR Financial Update...

PVR net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 365 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 95.6% to Rs 404.0 million during the period as against Rs 9.2 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, PVR reported 52.0% increase in net profit to Rs 1.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.3 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 32.2% to Rs 31 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PVR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 13.2x.
