How to download The Salt Lake Tribune’s new mobile app

The new app will include e-editions, obituaries and interactive puzzles, as well as breaking news.

(Sara Weber | Screenshot) The Salt Lake Tribune is switching to a new mobile app. It will include e-editions, obituaries and interactive puzzles, as well as breaking news.

The black Salt Lake Tribune app will be retired at the end of the year.

If you have logged in on sltrib.com, your username and email will transfer over and once your current subscription expires, it will not auto-renew. Instead, you will renew at sltrib.com, not in the Apple or Google stores.
If you have not linked your app account to sltrib.com, please do so in the app’s settings before the end of the year so your subscription can carry over.
The new app will include obituaries and interactive puzzles, as well as breaking news. You can find it in the Apple Store and the Google Store.

We have had technical glitches with logins on the black app and we are pleased that those issues will be corrected on the new app.

In addition, you will have full access to the e-edition section of the app, which will feature a unique, Monday through Friday e-edition and the weekend edition. The e-edition is a digital version of the printed paper that is available Monday through Friday. The weekend e-edition of the Sunday paper is also available online.

If you have any questions about your subscription, please email Claudia Laws at claws@sltrib.com
